One Step at a Time

June 20, 2017

Now that I have divulged some of my biggest budgeting secrets, its time to start breaking everything down so you get a little bit at a time. Making changes is overwhelming. Nobody said you must change overnight. It’s about making one small change at a time, whether its taking something away, adding something in, or swapping things out.

Where to start? Well, I figured I would start with the things that give you the biggest bang for your buck. One thing our bodies desperately need today are antioxidants. We encounter so many things on a day to day basis that break our bodies down (too much sun, sugar, alcohol, toxic chemicals from beauty and cleaning products, etc.).  These exposures cause a release of reactive chemicals in the body that cause all kinds of damage, whether it be nicking arteries causing plaque to accumulate, AGING (eww, yuck! Wrinklessss), stiff and sore muscles, organ stress.  You name it, somewhere along the way various chemicals started to raise hell in your body and you need an army to protect you.

That’s where antioxidants come in. Antioxidants are needed to repair different types of damage on many cellular levels. The problem is, there is no one cure all antioxidant. Different antioxidants are needed for different types of damage, so, as with many things, variety is the spice of life. What can you do to get all the antioxidants you need? For starters, you’ve heard the phrase “eat the rainbow”. That’s a pretty good start, but the truth is, and I have mentioned this before, fruits and veggies do not pack the same punch that they once had in the past. We need dietary supplements to get everything we need.

So now I get to tell you about my love affair with NingXia red. I was a late convert with this stuff. I finally bit the bullet when I saved up enough points to get a case for free to try out. I have discovered this stuff is worth its weight in gold. My skin has improved tremendously. Those dark bags under my eyes are way less pronounced. My hands are not swollen in the morning anymore. Holy workout recovery! That’s probably the biggest change I have noticed. If I remember to take it after a workout, my muscles recovery so much quicker, I am able to push out intervals for longer and at a higher intensity. My stomach doesn’t get as swollen in the

evening when I eat things that don’t agree with me.  I discover new benefits every day! Its just incredible.

So what is this stuff? NingXia red is primarily made from Wolfberries but contains a variety

of other concentrated antioxidants from plum, aronia, cherry, blueberry, and pomegranate juices. It is infused with Lemon, Orange, Yuzu, and Tangerine essential oils for extra phytonutrients and definite

ly gives the flavor a little extra something.

Here is the company’s product claims: “Young Living NingXia Red benefits include: support for energy levels, normal cellular function, and whole-body and normal eye health. A daily shot of 2–4 ounces helps support overall wellness with powerful an

tioxidants.”

Seriously, this stuff is amazing. You can use it so may ways as well! You can add it to your protein shakes, just take a shot in the morning,

make a spritzer and use instead of high sugar drinks. Add citrus essential oils for extra flavor! The possibilities are endless!

Right now this is the main nutrient source I am using to supplement my health. At only $1.5-2 per day, I am supporting so many body systems. No matter how successful we are at eating clean and exercising, you cant get away from all the things in our environment that we encounter day to day that causes the body damage.
