Frequently Asked Questions
What if I really do not like the sound my joints make when I am adjusted?
Do you take my insurance?
We work with all insurances that cover Chiropractic. We follow a different procedure than most offices in that we provide a superbill for the amount paid for the visit that can then be submitted for reimbursement. This system allows us to spend more time with patients and give them better quality care.
What if I am financially struggling and cannot afford your care?
We try and make our services accessible to everyone. We offer Care Credit, a credit card that has interest free financing options as well as discount packages. We spend more time per visit so that less visits are needed overall which ultimately saves you money in the end.
How many visits will I need?
The number of visits required depends on many factors. Some treatment plans are as short as two visits while others can require anywhere between 9-12 visits. There are many variables that can contribute to any given condition, some of which may prolong treatment programs. We work very hard to keep the number of visits needed to a minimum.
What can I expect at my first visit?
At your first visit you will fill out paperwork collecting your health and family history. You will then review your history with your doctor, and sign a consent form giving your permission to undergo both a thorough examination and subsequent treatment. Following your examination, we will report the findings to you and discuss your treatment plan. Treatment will likely be initiated at your first visit unless further information or imaging is required.
How long is a typical visit?
Initial visits require at least an hour to acquire a detailed history and thorough examination. An average visit takes anywhere from 15-45 minutes depending on the patient, and the complexity of the condition. We tend to have longer visits compared to most chiropractors because we use multiple diagnostic procedures as well as treatment modalities that allow us to cut down on the number of visits needed.
